As our CEO Nicky Unsworth always says, future talent is the key to driving success. That’s why she recently attended the Future Talent in the Creative Industries event, to inspire the next generation of potential creatives.
Organised by Manchester Metropolitan University and held in association with the Manchester Publicity Association, the event brought together creative industry experts, Manchester Met students and academics for a day of talks and networking.
Wayne Hemingway, co-founder of fashion label Red or Dead and Hemingway Design – and keynote speaker on the night – told his own unique story of entrepreneurship, from market stall to multi-million pound company.
Wayne was joined by Nicky and other directors at leading creative agencies and organisations in the area to give their perspective on what it takes to make it in such an exciting and fast-paced career.
And with young start ups, up and coming tech, and an increase in the creative talent pool in recent years, Manchester is very much the place to be when it comes to the creative industry.
