It all started with ‘That’s ASDA Price’ the famous pocket-tap campaign created by our founders. Since we opened our advertising doors, as Barrington Johnson Lorains, in ’87 a great deal has changed in our industry. But one thing hasn’t, our reputation for award-winning creativity.
Of course, we can’t show you every idea we’ve created over the past 30 years, so we’ve picked a few of our favourites. Now they may look a little dated (just check out the size of that mobile phone) but that long copy and art direction still stands up to the best of them.
There’s been a range of famous faces in our ads through the years. You might just recognise this ‘house’ hold name, promoting the Granada Studios Tour.
For over a decade, BJL worked with British Airways, we even created BA Connect, the airline’s first ever sub-brand. We’ve created a host of successful and award-winning work for lots of travel and tourism brands too, including: Eurocamp, Elegant Resorts and Contempo to name just a few.
Some of the work we’re most proud of is the work we do for good causes, currently we’re helping out the BBC with Children in Need. And in the past we’ve worked for the NHS, fostering and adoption charities, fund raising campaigns to beat cancer, to name a few.
