It’s BBC Children in Need and like millions of others across the country; we’ve been doing our bit to help support a terrific cause.
We’re proud to lend our support to the amazing work that BBC Children in Need do in helping young people across the UK. Not only do we love getting involved in all the fun (and more importantly, fundraising), but we’ve also had the honour of working with the team at the BBC to bring design consistency and making sure that Pudsey is always looking his best.
We love helping brands stand for something so that they can take on anything, so the opportunity to work for a cause with such passion and a clear purpose was right up our street.
For this year’s campaign we wanted to give BBC Children in Need a visual identity that would capture the energy of the evening in a bold, recognisable way, yet still retain the flexibility required to be used creatively by the people that make Children in Need such a success.
‘Do Your Thing’ reflects the essence of BBC Children in Need – an invitation to get involved in whatever way you can, from simply giving a few pounds, to doing something completely crazy and unique. The creative teams at the BBC have done an outstanding job in bringing the idea to life this year and we can’t wait to see the results of all their hard work.
Our ‘thing’ took the form of a cheese and board game night, including such classics as Pictionary, Articulate and Charades (and of course cheddar, brie and Camembert). It was a chance to unleash our competitive sides, and another way to raise funds in what we all hope will be a record-breaking year for BBC Children in Need.
