Picture the scene: The majestic, mountainous landscape of Snowdonia in North Wales, the bracing sea air sweeping in from the coast and, amid the scenic grandeur, a delicious, flavoursome cheese enjoyed by a roaring cottage hearth.
It’s the kind of brand experience that warms the cockles of your heart – and one that Snowdonia Cheese Company has been perfecting since the award-winning business was founded in 2001. With plenty of cheese aficionados on the team here at BJL, we’re over the moon to have been appointed lead agency for the brand following a competitive pitch, with a specific focus on driving forward its PR and social media strategies.
And what a story we have to tell. Using local ingredients sourced from the wild valleys and craggy enclaves of North Wales, Snowdonia Cheese Company has created a stunning range of luxury cheeses available at upscale retailers and fine food delicatessens, iconic sporting events and even royal engagements.
Whether it’s the brand’s renowned Little Black Bomber truckle (a creamy and smooth extra mature Cheddar) or the whisky-infused tones of Amber Mist, Snowdonia Cheese Company is a stamp of quality with a list of premium stockists stretching right across the country.
As part of the brief, BJL will be working with the Snowdonia Cheese Company team to develop their long-term communications and content strategy alongside the management of their press office and social media channels. It marks a PR and Social new business hat-trick in 2018 for BJL following appointments by gluten-free experts Dr Schar and premium health food brand LoveRaw.
On the win, Sue Beck, Marketing Manager at Snowdonia Cheese Company, commented: “BJL showed they really understand our sector as well as our brand and we’re delighted to be working with them.”
With such a prestigious, supremely well-crafted brand to work with, we couldn’t be more excited about telling the Snowdonia Cheese Company story to many more cheese lovers. Tasty times ahead.
